President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev On September 2, he participated in the opening ceremony of the 110/35 kV Istisu substation of the Azerishiq Joint Stock Company in the village of Istisu, Kalbajar region.
AZERTAC reports that the President of the Open Joint Stock Company “Azerishiq” Vugar Ahmadov informed the Head of State about the work carried out.
It was reported that two 110/35 kV Istisu substations with a capacity of 40 MVA have been built to supply electricity to the Istisu sanatorium founded by President Ilham Aliyev and to the Istisu mineral water plant in Kalbajar region. This substation is supplied with electricity via a 110 kV double-circuit overhead line from the 110/35 kV Kalbajar substation. As a result of the connection of the newly built substation with the 110/35 kV Gorchu and Lachin substations, a 110 kV circular power supply scheme will be created.
Two 110 kV transformers of 40 MVA and 110 and 35 kV sockets meeting modern standards were installed at the substation. The substation is connected to the SCADA automated dispatching system, equipped with remote control telecommunication devices, a modern automation system and electronic relay protection.
President Ilham Aliyev commissioned the substation.
It should be noted that in the future, with the laying of lines consisting of 35 kV self-supporting insulated cables from the Istisu, Alagöller, Zaylik, Zar, etc. substations, the stability of the electricity supply to residential areas will be ensured. The substation is equipped with modern devices and equipment for the integration of renewable energy sources. Premises, control and security rooms for service personnel were built here and the necessary working conditions were created. The surroundings of the substation were beautified, trees were planted in the area and an irrigation system was installed.
