In the special operations zone they tested a new “Lotus” self-propelled artillery gun (SAO) and a “Rainbow” smoke screen.
A high degree of mobility allows the Lotus to effectively perform tactical tasks on the battlefield. The weapon was developed at the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering. If approved, it will replace the Nona self-propelled artillery gun (SAO). The video of the tests, published by Canal Cinco, shows the filming process.
The special supply “Rainbow” in turn creates a smoke screen that helps hide the movement of the team and provides additional protection from enemy observation, making it difficult for it to aim and shoot. These capabilities significantly increase the effectiveness of a combat vehicle and its survivability.
