More than 4.3 thousand people crossed the border between Syria and Lebanon in one day. This was announced on Saturday, November 2, by the deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR), Captain 1st Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
“During the day, 4.3 thousand people crossed the border of the Syrian Arab Republic from the territory of Lebanon through the checkpoints “El-Arida”, “El-Jawasiya”, “Ed-Dabuhiya”, “Jisr al-Qamar” and “Jaidut Yabus”, — Ignasiuk said at the briefing.
He also added that in 24 hours the terrorists of the Jabhat al-Nusra groups* and the “Islamic Party of Turkestan”* (recognized as a terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation) carried out four attacks in the Idlib de-escalation zone. One in Aleppo province and three more in Idlib province. As a result of the mortar attack, a Syrian soldier was injured.
