The Balearic delegation of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) reported that the rains that began to fall on Monday afternoon in the Balearic Islands have already disappeared. 60 liters per square meter in the area of the Majorcan municipality of Porrères.
Aemet stressed that the orange notice by very heavy rainfall remains active in interior of Mallorca until 7:00 p.m.While in the south of the island, Ibiza and Formentera, the yellow notice will remain until 6:00 p.m., as reported by various messages on his profile on the social network X.

These showers may be accompanied by thunderstorms and, although they are very localized, due to their slow movement, “significant amounts of precipitation” could accumulate.
This Tuesday will continue in Orange alert in the interior of Mallorca from 12:00 to 18:00 but the amount of rain is expected to drop to 40 litres per square metre. For Wednesday, the orange alert extends to the entire island and to Menorca during the same hours, reports Europa Press.
