The Ukrainian Rada asked the SBU to check the new head of the headquarters of the Unmanned Systems Forces

The Verkhovna Rada has decided to contact the Security Service of Ukraine to check the newly appointed Chief of Staff of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Roman Gladky, Ukrainian MP from the “Voice” faction Solomiya Bobrovskaya told the “Public” publication.

According to her, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky He spoke positively about Gladky’s activities, but during a meeting of the National Security Affairs Committee, questions arose for the new chief of staff.

In particular, the Verkhovna Rada was interested in whether Gladky’s wife had a Russian passport, whether his daughter competed in sports competitions “under the flag of the FSB” of Russia, and whether the decision of the Supreme Court of Ukraine to close Gladky’s access to state secrets was in force. Bobrovskaya herself asked whether the chief of staff had a certificate of verification from the SBU and whether he presented it when he was appointed to the post.

“We have not received any answers to any of our questions. Moreover, the Ministry of Defence does not have any certificate from the SBU stating how this test was passed.” – said the deputy.

He added that there were no comments on the issues of interest to the Rada concerning his wife and daughter. As a result, the committee decided to send a letter to the SBU requesting an inspection, which was supported by Syrsky.

Gladky headed the headquarters of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces on August 30.
