Geely has introduced the appearance and interior of an electric car with the Emgrand price tag.

Official photos of the Xingyuan city car from the Geometry sub-brand, a Chinese brand, have been shared. The model’s main competitor will be the “BYD Dolphin” with a price tag of 100,000 yuan ($14,000). That is, the base electric car will be priced comparable to the top-of-the-range Geely Emgrand sedan model. According to photos from the “Geometry” press service, the target audience of the new model is women. Sales are expected to start in the fall.
The length/width/height of the “Geometry Xingyuan” are 4135/1805/1570 millimetres respectively, and the wheelbase is 2650 millimetres. The electric car has aerodynamic side mirrors, a practical colourless lining and LED lighting. 15-inch steel wheels are planned for the basic version. The interior is of a fairly high standard!
The top version is expected to feature perforated seats, a virtual instrument panel, a touchscreen multimedia system, a multifunction steering wheel, contour lighting and a two-tone body colour. The electric car will have a 116-horsepower engine, and a 79-horsepower engine is planned in the initial configuration. The battery capacity and chemical composition have not been revealed, but the expected range is up to 500 kilometers.
No on-sale date has been announced for the Geometry Xingyuan, but the electric car is expected to hit dealerships in the fall.
