Andalusia will have 48.836 million in its 2025 budget, or 4.4% more

Tomorrow the Junta de Andalucía will present the 2025 draft budget to Parliament for processing before the end of the year. What do we already know about the Andalusian public accounts for next year? The President of the Council, Juanma Moreno, has already announced that it will grow by 4.4% and reach 48.836 million euros. Are 2.065 million more than in 2024.

The Minister of Finance and spokesperson for the Government of Andalusia, Carolina España, highlighted that “six euros out of ten” They are intended for basic services for the citizen.

Only the health spending already absorbs almost a third of it of the budget, with items amounting to more than 15 billion euros, transferring data from previous budgets to this increase planned for next year.

And furthermore, “more than 6 billion euros to support the productive fabric“. This support for the business world will translate into incentives both for investment (powerful help lines are planned for the industry) and also for hiring.

Accommodation

The tax reduction policy is also maintained, now focused on support access to housing with more deductions. In total, 800 million euros are allocated to housing policies, including around 300 for tax deductions and another 500 for VPO programs, rehabilitation, AVRA agency budgets, etc.

President Moreno and the Spanish minister insisted this weekend that the project which will be approved tomorrow in the Governing Council and then presented to Parliament is open to contributions and amendments of the different political groups of the opposition.

Since 2018, the Andalusian budget has increased by 14,076 million euros. The executive insists that the increase in funding received responds strictly to what corresponds to Andalusia by law, derived fundamentally from the increase in VAT and personal income tax, and that the community is undergoing a underfinancing of around 1.5 billion euros per year.
