The Absheron District Court has completed the judicial investigation into the criminal case of Gafar Efendiyev (conditional defendant), who is accused of illegally seizing a car without the intention of looting it.
According to information obtained by Pravda.az, the verdict was read out at the trial presided over by Judge Abuset Gasimov.
According to the court’s verdict, the criminal proceedings were terminated and he was exonerated from criminal liability.
According to the indictment, the incident occurred on March 8, 2023, at around 1 a.m., in front of one of the houses located on Shukur Hamidov Street, Khirdalan town, Absheron district.
Thus, Gafar Efendiyev, born in 2000, became interested in driving the VAZ-2107 car owned by the victim HH near the house. He sat behind the wheel of the car without the victim’s permission, started the engine and started the car.
Gafar Efendiyev was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal liability.
