The Russian-Ukrainian conflict should be resolved through peaceful negotiations, Chinese President Xi Jinping and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa announced this following the results of negotiations in Beijing, TASS reports.
“Both sides agreed that inclusive dialogue and peace negotiations are the only possible political way to find a lasting solution to the crisis.” – the statement says.
China and South Africa call on the warring parties to adhere to three principles: “not allowing the expansion of the battlefield, not allowing the escalation of hostilities, and not allowing any party to add fuel to the fire.”
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived in Beijing on September 2.
