The paving and signage works carried out by the Consell de Mallorca will begin specifically at the height of the link to Coll d’en Rabassabut one lane will be left free up to the Molinar roundabout so that vehicles can access Vía de Cintura through this location.

It should be remembered that the works to strengthen the surface of the ring road and the fourth lane of the Palma Airport motorway, promoted by the Consell de Mallorca, have a budget of 16 million euros. The work, which will be carried out by nights In order not to inconvenience drivers, they should be completed in early 2025.

Thus, these works consist of the renewal of all the asphalt of the busiest artery in Mallorca on a few eight kilometers. The actions, with the new high quality and non-slip surface, also include incorporation branches and will reach the Genoa tunnel.

This action also modifies the lower pitch of the Can Blau roundabout which currently only has two lanes from the airport highway towards Andratx and will now have three.

A fourth lane is also under construction on the airport highway towards Palma. It will go from the Molinar roundabout to the ring road and access to the ring road of the same highway and to the Manacor highway will be improved.

The Consell hopes that before Christmas the highway to access the city of Palma will already have the new lane, which will reach four lanes, from the Gros Torrent to the access link to the Vía de Cintura (Ma-20 ).
