Welcome to this live broadcast dedicated to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
What is the program for the day?
On the French side, the day will start at 9 a.m. with the round of 16 of archery by Aziza Benhami and the para-equestrian event by Chiara Zenati. This will be followed by the 50-metre sport shooting qualifications, in which Didier Richard and Jean-Louis Michaud will compete.
From 9.30am, it will be time to head to the Paralympic pool, where the French swimmers will take turns to try to secure their place in the afternoon final. Ugo Didier will compete in the 100m backstroke (S9), Dimitri Granjux and David Smétanine in the 200m freestyle (S4), Laurent Chardard in the 50m butterfly (S6), Solène Sache in the 50m backstroke (S5) and Alex Portal in the 200m medley (SM13).
After Aurélie Aubert’s title the day before, the boccia competitions continue, this time with team matches. Sonia Heckel and Jules Ménard will open the door at 11:50 a.m., challenging Australia in mixed doubles in the BC3 category.
Tuesday will also be marked by numerous table tennis matches, including the quarter-finals of Thu Kamkasomphou (WS8, at 13:00), Fabien Lamirault (MS2, at 13:45), Alexandra Saint-Pierre (WS5, at 18:30) and Léa Ferney (WS11, at 19:15). It will also be the debut of wheelchair fencing at the 2024 Paralympic Games. Clémence Delavoipiere will enter the competition at 13:00 in the A category.
In the afternoon, at the Stade de France, a number of French players will be competing for a medal. Valentin Bertrand will compete in the long jump final (T37) at 7 p.m. He will be followed by Soane Luka Meissonnier at 7:04 p.m. in the shot put (F20), before the Bleus start the 400 metres. Charles-Antoine Kouakou (T20) will start at 8:47 p.m., and Laure Ustaritz (T37) at 9:38 p.m. Also noteworthy is the entry into the race in the morning at 11:04 a.m. of the French flag-bearer Nantenin. Keïta in the 100 m (T13).
Finally, the French women’s team will face China in sitting volleyball at 8 p.m., while the Cécifoot Blues will face Turkey at 8:30 p.m.

What is it about? The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will run until Sunday, September 8, are scheduled to take place. The last edition took place in the summer of 2021 in Tokyo.
