Colt Gray, 14, is suspected of shooting at a US school that killed four people, CNN reported, citing local FBI office chief Chris Ozi.
The shooter was arrested and will be charged with murder, and Gray will be sentenced as an adult, Ozy said.
According to CNN, the shooting was one of the deadliest in recent years, with only 11 school shootings with four or more deaths since 2008.
The shooting occurred on September 4 at Apalachee High School in Winder, Georgia, which serves nearly 2,000 children.
Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith Speaking at a news conference at the scene, he said authorities received a call about the shooter at around 9.30am on 4 August (16.30 Moscow time).
According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, at least four people were killed in the shooting. As Ozi clarified, two teachers and two students were killed. Nine other victims were taken to hospitals.
