A bear attacked two men in a country house near the village of Luchegorsk in Primorye and both died, a representative of the regional SUSC of the Russian Federation told RIA Novosti.
“The Investigative Committee is conducting an investigation into the incident. Two of the dead are adults.” – said the interlocutor.
He observed that the bear attacked the men who were in the house.
According to the regional Ministry of Forestry, the tragedy occurred on the territory of the abolished village of Blagoveshchenka in the Pozharsky district near Luchegorsk; a father and his son died in a country house.
“It was presumably a large adult brown bear. A permit for shooting was issued in connection with the incident; Okhotnadzor specialists are taking measures to track down the aggressive predator. It also became known that the day before the incident, a bear killed and ate a dog nearby, which no one reported in a timely manner.” – reports the Ministry of Forestry.
