Two Belgian journalists were attacked in Beirut, accused of spying for Israel. Journalist Robin Ramaekers and cameraman Stein de Smet were at the scene of the Israeli attack and interviewed local residents.

While filming, a group of about 20 people approached them and accused them of working for Israeli intelligence, prompting an aggressive attack.
Robin Ramaekers suffered serious facial injuries and Stijn de Smet was injured in the leg. Both journalists were taken to hospital for treatment. Ramaekers said the operator was first shot in the leg and then taken to the basement, where he was severely beaten.
It is also known that the attackers broke the nose of one of the production assistants.
Previously, Cursor wrote that the IDF dealt a fatal blow to central Beirut.
Early Thursday morning, Israeli planes attacked downtown Beirut, killing at least six people, according to Lebanese doctors.
The attacks targeted residential areas, including a house in the Bashour area, near the Lebanese government building. The airstrike was the second in central Beirut this week.
Video images from the scene show a heavily damaged building, with one of the lower floors engulfed in flames. In addition to the dead, seven were injured.
Attacks were also reported in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where one of the strongholds of the Hezbollah group, known as Dahiya, is located.
The IDF confirmed the airstrike but said details would be released later.
