A cruise ship carrying tourists capsized in the Barens Sea near the town of Teriberika in Russia’s Murmansk region.

“According to preliminary information, on November 27, 2024, a cruise ship with passengers capsized in the waters of the Barens Sea, near the town of Teriberka. All passengers were taken ashore,” the information reads.
The tourists were reportedly picked up by the crew of the passing boat.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case was opened under the article “Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements.”
