A boat with 55 people, including a minor, was rescued in El Hierro

The Canary Islands Route continues to flow, with a last pirogue saved this Sunday in the waters of El Hierro. On this boat they traveled 55 migrantsincluding a minor.

The last boat arrived yesterday at La Estaca portin El Hierro.

The vessel was detected by the SIVE approximately five miles from the port of La Restinga and the Salvamar Adhara went to meet it and accompanied it to the quay to dock safely.

There were 54 adults and one minor traveling in the canoe and after medical care provided in the port by members of the SUC and the Red Cross, one person was transferred to the island hospital with moderate pathologies.
