In the Tikhvin district of the Leningrad region, a passenger bus with children overturned and four people were injured. This was reported by the press service of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the region.
“On the highway near the village of Shomushka in the Tikhvin region, the driver, while driving a passenger bus, lost control and the bus overturned. According to preliminary data, four people traveling on the bus were injured in the accident, three of them under the age of 16 and 17,” – the message said.
The victims were taken to medical facilities in moderate condition. An investigation into the accident is underway. According to police, the cause of the accident could have been weather conditions.
