Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked Shebekino in the Belgorod region, injuring one civilian, regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced.
“A man with a concussion and a shrapnel wound to the soft tissues of the chest was taken by self-defense forces to the central district hospital in Shebekino. After providing first aid, the ambulance team transferred the victim to the regional clinical hospital. All necessary medical care is being provided.” — he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Damage to the roof, facades, glazing and fences of three private houses has so far been identified. Shrapnel also damaged a garage, a shopping centre and a social centre, and a gas pipeline was interrupted.
Emergency services are working on the ground.
