He Court of Instruction number 13 of Seville handled the PSOE complaint against the current director general of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS), Valle Garcíaand his predecessors in this position Diego Vargas And Miguel Angel Guzman for “possible irregularities” in hiring through the emergency procedure carried out by the SAS since 2021. That is to say the PSOE denounced these three people and the judge communicated the complaint to them. The same sources assure that the SAS and the manager of the SAS “have not yet received any notification”. Procedure
The judge who signs the order undertakes to summon these three managers of the SAS so that they appear “at court time on any working day in November 2024 in order to inform them of their rights in accordance with article 118 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as to send them the written complaint and extension by means of a copy of the same procedure and other procedures carried out, accepting its declaration subsequently. That is to say the process after a complaint.
This resolution of the judge is brought to the attention of the Ministry of the Prosecutor and “other parties in person, advising them that they may file a petition for reform before this court within three days,” the order also states.
Complaint
The judicial resolution specifies that the thirty parliamentarians of the PSOE-A filed a complaint before the courts of Seville against the two former directors of SAS mentioned above “for possible irregularities in the hiring through the emergency procedure by the Andalusian health service in the years 2021-2023.
The aforementioned court agreed, on October 1, to open preliminary proceedings “due to the existence of a possible offense of administrative prevarication.” Subsequently, “in writing dated October 11, 2024, around thirty “socialist parliamentarians” filed a complaint requesting to be detained as a popular accusation after having offered bail.
The court fixed 5,000 euros the amount of this deposit, which the socialist deputies displayed, which earned them to be considered as a “popular accusation” in this affair.
