A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s accession to the Framework Document of the Partnership for Peace (PfP) program of NATO was held in Baku.
“The report” reports that the event was attended by Anar Mutallimov, in his capacity as head of the Department of Political-Military Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Burcu San, the assistant to the Deputy Secretary General for Operations of NATO, members of the academic world . Foreign circles from related fields, analysts, as well as local state institutions and representatives of relevant educational institutions participated.
The conference discussed the history, current situation and future prospects of Azerbaijan’s partnership with the Alliance, the achievements of the SNT program, the country’s contribution to NATO-led peace support operations and the assurance of energy security in the European region.
At the same time, opinions were exchanged on other issues related to Azerbaijan’s association with NATO.
