The Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow admitted the lawsuit of a victim during a terrorist attack on the Crocus Town Hall against the company that organized the Picnic group’s concert that took place there. This was reported by the joint press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction on the Telegram channel.

“Plaintiff believes his rights as a consumer were violated because the concert organizer failed to provide the appropriate level of security for the event.” – says the message.

In this regard, the victim asks the court to recover 1 million rubles from the defendant as compensation for moral damage.

Preparation of the case for trial is scheduled for December 10 of this year.

As reported EADailyThe terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22. The terrorists broke into the building, opened fire and set fire to the concert hall. As a result of the attack, 145 people were killed and 551 injured. The Russian FSB reported that after the terrorist attack, the attackers planned to cross the border from the Russian Federation to Ukraine, they had contacts on the Ukrainian side.

A criminal case has been initiated under art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Terrorist act”). On June 1, it was reported that more than 1.7 thousand people were recognized as victims in the case of the terrorist attack in Crocus. That same day it was learned that there were 20 defendants in the case, 18 of whom were arrested, two more were under parole not to leave the scene.
