Smart has officially unveiled a new crossover called #5, which is the largest car in the model lineup. The electric car’s engine range will consist of four power plants, and the cabin will feature a three-screen multimedia system and an AI-based voice assistant. Sales in China will begin at the end of this year, and in Europe in 2025.

The appearance of the production crossover generally repeats the design of the concept of the same name presented in April. The dimensions of the electric car are 4705x1920x1705 millimeters with a wheelbase of 2.9 meters, which makes the Smart #5 much larger than, for example, the Toyota RAV4. The wheels are 20 inches and the trunk volume is as much as 1,530 liters. In addition, another 72 liters of volume are hidden under the front hood.
The special version called “Summit Edition” has already been presented with a set of travel accessories: expedition luggage, a hanging box for small items, an underbody protector and an additional light.
