Hundreds of people gathered on Saturday at Place Denfert-Rochereau, amid the failure of the republic’s leaders to form a government for more than 45 days after extraordinary parliamentary elections.
Participants chanted “Macron resign!”, “Macron, resign!”, “Macron, your job is done: the French have taken to the streets!” They shouted slogans.
Several participants supported freedom of expression in France following the arrest of Telegram founder Pavel Durov.
At the end of the action, Florian Filippo, founder of the Patriotic Party, traditionally tore down the EU flag and called for France to leave the EU and NATO.
