At an auction held in France, the skeleton of a 22-meter-long apatosaurus was sold for about 6 million euros.

Before the auction began, auction administrators claimed that it was the largest dinosaur skeleton ever auctioned. Its estimated value ranged between 3 and 5 million euros. However, the sale price exceeded all expectations.
