According to Khezerxeber.az, Tayyar Eyvazov, an expert specialist of the Ministry of Health and an infectious disease doctor, said that the disease that has been spreading in recent days is a seasonal acute respiratory viral infection.
Currently, what is observed in patients is more like flu symptoms. The acute symptoms of the disease last 2 to 3 days.
T. Eyvazov noted that the virus currently observed has nothing to do with the coronavirus. The clinical manifestations of each virus in humans may be different.
There are no antiviral drugs against these viruses. The infectious disease expert said there are no complications from the current viruses and noted that despite all this, symptomatic treatment is necessary.
Taking this into account, when the high temperature lasts more than 5-7 days, when antipyretic drugs are not obeyed, when there is acute weakness, weakness, shortness of breath, suffocation, as well as a decrease in oxygen saturation, decreased blood pressure, feeling of tightness in the chest, various pains, hemorrhages and bleeding in the areas, signs of unconsciousness, heart rhythm disturbances, severe headaches accompanied by vomiting, neurological deficits, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
