Two Civil Guards were injured and a drug trafficker died last night following the collision between a Civil Guard patrol boat and a drug boat loaded with hashish in the waters of Cádiz, near the mouth of the Guadalquivir River .
The events, as detailed to EL ESPAÑOL by Benemérita sources, occurred after the Army Institute spotted, thanks to the Integrated External Surveillance System (SIVE), five drug boats entering through the mouth of the river. It was then that the patrol boat Río Irati was activated, which was following a drug boat.
It is then that a collision occurs between the two. The narcoboat headed towards the coast of Doñana, within the demarcation of the Civil Guard command of Huelva.
As a result of the collision, two members of the official crew (a civil guard and a corporal) were slightly injured by bruises.
A drug dealer was also seriously injured and died yesterday morning.
