According to information, the 86-year-old singer, who wrote his name in the history of Greek music with his rebetiko style, was admitted to the hospital with suspected stroke. The moments of Marinella’s stroke were caught on camera. In the footage, the singer, whose voice trembled while singing, suddenly turned around and fell to the ground after a while.
A few minutes before the start of the concert, Marinella, whose condition worsened on stage, was admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit due to a brain hemorrhage and is being treated; her condition is reported to be serious.
It should be noted that Marinella, who holds the record for the best-selling album in the history of Greek music and is known for being the first person to bring daring shows to the nights of Athens, represented her country in the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Krasi, Thalassa Ke T’ Agori Mu” and it was the 11th.
