An international festival-competition dedicated to the memory of the People’s Artist of the USSR Muslim Magomayev will be held in Grozny from November 13 to 16.
Oku.Az TASS reports that, according to the press service of the Chechen State Philharmonic, vocalists from foreign countries and regions of Russia will participate.
The festival-competition “Orfeo” has become an annual event. The seventh “Orpheus” will again be held at the Chechen State Philharmonic,” the press service reported.
It is reported that the competition is held within the framework of the national project “Culture”. This year its total prize fund will amount to 670 thousand rubles (about 12 thousand manats).
