A fire broke out near a chemical plant in the Rostov region

Grass caught fire in the vicinity of a chemical plant in Volgodonsk, Rostov region, a representative of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the region said.

“There was a report of a fire in the area of ​​a chemical plant in the city of Volgodonsk,” – he told reporters.

According to available information, the grass caught fire; the area of ​​the fire is 350 square meters. Twelve firefighters are working on the scene and three teams are involved in extinguishing the fire.

There are no reports of casualties yet.
