Grass caught fire in the vicinity of a chemical plant in Volgodonsk, Rostov region, a representative of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry for the region said.
“There was a report of a fire in the area of a chemical plant in the city of Volgodonsk,” – he told reporters.
According to available information, the grass caught fire; the area of the fire is 350 square meters. Twelve firefighters are working on the scene and three teams are involved in extinguishing the fire.
There are no reports of casualties yet.
