A player of the “Mingachevir” football team was hospitalized during the match played in the first division of the Azerbaijan Football Championship.
According to “Unikal”, the incident occurred during the match between the teams “Mingachevir” and “Zagatala” held at the city stadium. Tural Mammadzade, a player from the “Mingachevir” team, collided with a player from the visiting team and was seriously injured in the head. The player, who received medical assistance at the scene, was later taken to hospital.
It should be noted that the match ended with a 2:3 victory for the visiting team. Tural Mammadzade, scorer of one of the home team’s goals, was injured in the head a minute after the goal and was hospitalized.
