Sudeif Imamverdiyev, a second-term deputy of the Milli Majlis, appeared in court.
According to Modern.az, the former deputy was brought to court under article 147 (defamation) of the Criminal Code.
The case was handed over to Judge Solmaz Mustafayeva of the Nasimi District Court.
It should be noted that Sudeif Imamverdiyev is an honorable statesman and scientist of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is the head of the urology department at the Azerbaijan Medical University.
The deputy of the second convocation of the Milli Majlis was one of the founders of the New Azerbaijan Party among the famous “91”.
