“Yesterday at 23:17, on the Volokonovka – Novy Oskol section (Belgorod region), a locomotive and freight cars derailed due to interference in the operation of railway transport.” – says the message.
According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Law enforcement officers are on the scene.
An operational headquarters has been set up at the South Eastern Railway to eliminate the consequences of the incident.
The last such incident occurred in May last year. Then, as a result of an explosive device explosion, a locomotive and wagons of a freight train derailed in the Bryansk region, there were no casualties.
