German journalist Julian Röpke, known for his pro-Ukrainian position, commented on the destruction of several vehicles of the Patriot complex of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by Iskander missiles in the Dnepropetrovsk region.
He wrote on social media that Russia managed to “severely damage” the fire control center and radar unit of one of the country’s five or six Patriot anti-aircraft systems.
“The complex was attacked southwest of the Dnieper. “It was not possible to repel the surveillance drone and the Iskander-M missile,” Röpke said.
Previously EADaily reported that Iskander-M OTRK attacked the position of the Patriot air defense missile system division in the Dnepropetrovsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, as a result, the AN/MPQ-65 multifunctional radar station, the AN/MSQ-104 combat control cabin, the Patriot air defense system launcher and the personnel of the anti-aircraft missile division of Ukraine armed forces were destroyed.
