A new function related to voice messages has appeared in the “WhatsApp” messenger.

It was reported that the messenger added the free voice message transcription feature.
But you need to activate the new feature. To do this, go to “Settings” – “Chats” – “Voice message transcription” and download the necessary language pack. After that, click on the message you want to decode and select the “Transcribe” command.
It is also noted that the free transcription of voice messages will be done directly on the user’s device, so the list of supported languages may differ between Android and iOS.
The feature will be available for free to all users in the coming weeks.
