At the customs post “Julfa” of the General Customs Department in Nakhchivan, a customs inspection was carried out on the basis of the entered operational information on a cargo vehicle transporting PVC (polyvinyl chloride) cargo from the Islamic Republic of Iran and transiting through the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Turkey.
Oku.Az reports that the State Customs Committee has released information on this matter.
According to the information, during the inspection, drugs containing “tramadol hydrochloride” were discovered in several secret storage locations of the vehicle, which contains 28,605 pills with an active substance quantity of 6,436.125 grams.
It should be noted that “Tramadol” is included in the “List of active substances and their ash content”.
The incident is being investigated.
