A Lerik resident was killed when a tree fell on him in the forest

Details of the accident in Lerik have been revealed.

Thus, Said Mikayilov, born in 1973, a resident of the village of Kago, Lerik district, went to the forest at dawn to collect firewood.

According to the deceased’s brother, he sold the dry firewood he collected to pay for his son’s education, who was appointed a student:

“The incident happened around 4 or 5 in the morning. He fell on a rotten tree. We were worried because he came home late, so we started searching for him. We found his body in the forest area. He was a quiet man, he adopted children and supported them.”

An accident happened in Lerik.

According to information provided by the APA Southern Office, Said Mikayilov, born in 1973, a resident of Kago village, Lerik district, went to the forest to collect firewood early in the morning.

While collecting firewood, a rotten tree with a long stem fell on him. S. Mikayilov died on the spot from his injuries. His body was discovered by his relatives.

The body was handed over to the Lankaran district branch of the Forensic Medical Examination and Pathology Unit for internal and external examination.

The District Attorney’s Office is investigating the incident.
