The police of Florida stopped the adoptive mother of a 13 year old girl for torturing the minor, starving her and hiding the body in the basement of his house. The girl’s body showed obvious signs of severe malnutritionrecent scars and ulcerated wounds. So much proof that the minor was locked up alive in a cellar and the victim of physical violence for years. Police accuse woman of tying daughter to home’s garage door and watching her cameras installed in the basementwhich they describe as “a prison”. The juvenile’s adoptive mother, Diane Mack, 34, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, child abuse, kidnapping and destruction of evidence.
Police found the 13-year-old girl in the home’s garage, wearing only a diaper and in conditions officers described as ““one of the most disturbing crime scenes in decades”.
It was the accused herself, Diane, who called the authorities in the early hours of Friday, November 15, at least five hours after the minor’s death. According to the woman’s statement, she found her daughter in this condition, but she has at least offered two different versions of when the discovery took place in her own home. In her first version, the mother claims to have found the minor Thursday morning. In a second version, he says it was three o’clock in the afternoon.
The most inexplicable thing for the police is that after finding the young girl dead or in very serious condition, instead of warning her, they moved the four other children who lived in this house. Instead of calling an ambulance, the inmate got in her car and took the other children to another town about three hours away and returned.
