In the Kursk region, Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Andrei Makhanko, known in Ukraine for filming a commercial about coronavirus vaccination, died during hostilities.
A war correspondent reported this on his Telegram channel on Monday, October 14. Ruslan Tatarinov.
“Major Andrei Makhanko was liquidated in the Kursk region; Ukraine’s chief doctor participated in an announcement about Covid-19” – says the publication.
For clarity, the author attached to the publication a recording of the announcement and photographs of Makhanko in military uniform.
The deceased is known to have served in the elite 82nd air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a medical company commander. On social networks he reported that he was in the Kursk region with his unit.
It is interesting that he pessimistically assessed the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Russian border zone and called it “not the most successful in modern history.”
Previously EADaily reported that in the zone of special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine, the Russian army killed a famous American mercenary Nick Duckworth.
