A meeting was held at the Media Development Agency (MEDIA) with the general director of the Albanian Media and Information Agency, Alteo Husi, and a memorandum of understanding was signed between the parties.

It was reported that during the meeting, the Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, Ahmet Ismayilov, drew attention to the importance of exchanging experiences between institutions and media entities responsible for the field of media and of implementing joint projects, establishing a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. in general, and the importance of strengthening efforts to combat misinformation and increase media literacy was highlighted.
Alteo Husi, Director General of the Media and Information Agency of the Republic of Albania, expressed his gratitude for the organization of the meeting and stressed that the establishment of efficient and useful collaborative relations will allow joint measures to be taken in accordance with current challenges. in the field of information and the introduction of new media formats, addressed the need to share effective experiences in this field.
Subsequently, with the participation of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Albania, Anar Huseynov, the Media Development Agency and the Information and Media Agency of Albania shared best practices in the field of media and communication, exchanged information and experiences, expanded the association in relevant initiatives and projects of mutual benefit and interest. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed, which provides for forms of cooperation such as the promotion of mutual visits of officials responsible for the subject and experts.
