The State Water Resources Agency (ADSEA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SOCAR Green, a subsidiary of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), with the aim of increasing energy efficiency in the management of the country’s water resources and expanding the application of renewable energy projects.
Oku.Az reports that it was informed by ADSEA.
The memorandum provides for cooperation in the direction of carrying out diagnoses of energy consumption in the Agency’s operations, hiring technical consultants for specialized support and developing a roadmap for the implementation of energy efficiency measures and renewable energy initiatives during the management of water resources.
The memorandum also highlights the shared interest of both institutions in exploring new projects that support Azerbaijan’s national, sustainable and sustainable future goals.
