National Police officers were arrested in the city of Alicante a young man of Spanish nationality aged 17 major, for his alleged involvement in an incident that occurred during the October 26 football match between Hércules CF and Atlético de Madrid B at the José Rico Pérez stadium.
The police intervention began when possible offensive behavior by the minor towards a player from the visiting team was detected. According to the investigation, the young man would have made gestures from the stands this could be interpreted as offensive in relation to the racial origin of Atlético Madrid player B.
Added to this incident is the behavior of two other people who could also be involved in inappropriate behavior within the stadium, in particular one for invading the playing field and another by throwing a small objectHe hit one of the players.
Identified thanks to the club
The minor, identified thanks to the collaboration of Hércules CF itself, was arrested by the national police and released under investigation, remaining in the custody of a family member. The two other people involved have also been identified. with the help of the Herculano club, proposed for sanction by sports law before the government authority.
The police actions carried out with the 17-year-old boy were referred to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office of the Alicante Provincial Court and to the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office specializing in hate crimes.
