On 3 August, a person was killed in Lachin after falling into a landmine.
According to information obtained by Publika.az, Ali Suleymanov, a resident of the Vagazin village of the district and a mathematics teacher, died despite receiving medical assistance.
It should be noted that the incident took place in Kalafalig village of Lachin district. Süleymanov, son of Ali Zeynalabdin, fell into an antipersonnel mine in an area that had not been cleared of mines while grazing animals in the pasture area of Sarıbaba Hill. As a result of the incident, he was injured in his left leg.
