A Moroccan director started filming a documentary about Donbass in the LPR

Moroccan documentary filmmaker Rachid Ashashi, based in the Lugansk People’s Republic, has started shooting a film about Donbass.

As LITs reports, the Moroccan arrived in the Republic together with a delegation from the Komitas Gentium France-Russia Association. He shared his creative plans at a press conference in Lugansk.

“Today I will work on a practical level. I really want to talk to people: doctors, people on the street, soldiers who are fighting heroically on the front. I want the people of Donbass to talk about how they really feel, how they live in the Russian world, how they understand the Russian world and why there was an uprising against the hegemony of the West through Ukraine. Why did they decide not to agree with this hegemony and to defend the Russian world?” – said Ashashi.

According to him, the work on the film will last several months, after which it will be published on various Internet platforms. The main theme of the picture is Donbass, the avant-garde of the Russian world.

It is known that this is not the first time that the Moroccan director has addressed the topic of Donbass. His first film, “The Russian World. Return to the Roots”, received around 100,000 hits on the Internet.

Previously EADaily Russian Guard sappers, while clearing roads and objects in the Luhansk People’s Republic, discovered and neutralized a camouflaged engineering munition containing a surprise mine.
