A Moscow court imposed another fine for the Telegram service

The Tagansky District Court in Moscow once again fined the Telegram messenger. This was reported by the joint press service of the Moscow courts of general jurisdiction on the Telegram channel.

Telegram Messenger Inc. found guilty of committing an administrative offense under Part 4 of Article 13.41 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (Violation of the procedure for restricting access to information, information resources, access to which is subject to restriction in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation on information, information technology and information protection, and (or) the procedure for deleting the specified information)”, – says the message.

Typically, when this administrative article is applied, the offense is refusing to remove prohibited information.

The fine amounted to 7 million rubles.

This is the fourth fine that Telegram has received this year and amounts to several million.

As reported EADailyIn July this year, Telegram was fined under the same article for refusing to remove information about anti-Russian actions. The fine amounted to 3 million rubles.

In August, the courier was again fined 4 million rubles for failing to remove falsifications about the Russian military.

In October, the service was again fined 4 million rubles under the same article.
