In the United States, agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrested Anas Said, 28, who wanted to commit a terrorist attack in Houston (Texas).

According to the information, it was learned that Anas Said prepared a terrorist act consistent with the scenario of the terrorist attack committed in New York City on September 11, 2001.
“The FBI in Houston announces the arrest of Anas Saeed, 28. He is accused of attempting to provide financial support to ISIS and, by his own admission, of planning a terrorist attack in the United States. And he planned to carry out all this from his apartment in the west end of Houston,” he said, according to account “X” of the special service.
It should be noted that Said was arrested last week in the residential complex where he lives. During interrogation, the suspect admitted that he had planned a “9/11-style” attack. He also investigated ways to attack recruiting stations in Houston and tried to promote the group’s terrorist ideology.
It should be remembered that on September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists from the “Al-Qaeda” group hijacked four passenger planes in the United States. Two of them were aimed at the World Trade Center towers, the tallest buildings in New York at that time, and the third at the Pentagon building located on the outskirts of Washington. The fourth plane also flew to the US capital, but crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. 2,977 people died as a result of terrorist acts.
