Sportinfo.az reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports decided on this option. Minister Farid Gayibov spoke in various circles and agreed to transfer Imranov from Sumgayit to the corresponding position.
As is known, the director of the stadium, Nadir Guliyev, left his position. The director of the stadium, reopened earlier this year, submitted his resignation.
It is no coincidence that the previous director wanted to leave his job. Serious problems have arisen in the management of the stadium.
Financial difficulties have become more evident in recent months. The employees who work here have not been able to receive salaries for months.
In particular, it has become difficult to pay utility bills. For this reason, the stadium has a large debt with various state organizations.
It should be noted that Shahin Imranov played for the Azerbaijan national team in the period 2002-2008. He competed twice in the Olympic Games, twice in the World Championships and three times in the European Championships.
In 2008 he won the bronze medal at the XXIX Summer Olympics in China.
He also won silver medals at the European Championships held in Perm (Russia) in 2002 and Plovdiv (Bulgaria) in 2006.
