On September 16, the new school year begins in all general, secondary and higher education institutions in the country.
Oku.Az Baku City Education Department (BESTI) reports that according to data from the Baku City Education Department (BESTI), in the new academic year 513,698 students will be educated in general education institutions operating under the supervision of BESTI. It is expected that 46,098 students will study in class I, 44,223 in class IX, 35,757 in class X, 32,260 in class XI and 156 in class XII.
It is expected that 45,201 children will participate in pre-school education institutions operating under the BCTI and 29,216 five-year-old children will participate in preparatory groups of general education institutions.
In the new academic year, 29,400 teachers and 4,830 teacher-educators will be employed in preschool educational institutions operating under the BCTI.
