In Dagestan, investigators are clarifying the circumstances of a dog attack on a woman in Kaspiysk.
The Investigative Committee responded to information on social networks that on October 16, on Kaspiysk’s Abdullaev Boulevard, a pack of dogs attacked a local resident.
“On this fact, the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Dagestan began a procedural verification aimed at clarifying the causes and circumstances of what happened. Based on the results of the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.” – reported the Investigative Committee.
Next, a message from the Municipal Budgetary Institution of the Green City with advice on how to behave with stray dogs appeared on the Telegram channel of the Kaspiysk administration.
“The city is actively working to catch stray dogs. The objective is to improve the safety of neighbors and prevent incidents. 3 to 5 individuals are captured daily, which indicates a systematic approach to solving the problem. Today, October 17, in the park near the administration and in the alley that bears his name. Abdullaev, 3 individuals were captured. MBU “Green City” monitors the population of stray animals. “This work allows us not only to reduce the number of potentially dangerous situations, but also to provide more comfortable living conditions in the city.” – says the message.
When encountering dogs, city residents are recommended:
- Stay calm: do not run or make sudden movements.
- Avoid eye contact: Don’t look directly into your dog’s eyes.
- Walk away slowly: Don’t turn your back on the dog.
- Use objects: Keep a bag or umbrella between you and your dog.
- Speak calmly: avoid shouting and harsh sounds.
- Protect yourself: If you cannot avoid an attack, cover your neck and face.
- Inform services: After the incident, call the corresponding services.
