The criminal case against Azerbaijani citizen Imamverdi Ahmadov was initiated under the chairmanship of Judge Dadash Imanov of the Ganja Serious Crimes Court, and the preparatory court session was scheduled for September 4.
According to information obtained by “Report”, the preliminary investigation of the criminal case against Imamverdi Ahmadov under Article 28.278.2 of the Criminal Code was carried out by the State Security Service.
Thus, according to the indictment, since April 2023, Imamverdi Ahmadov gathered people with the same radical religious convictions, initiated riots on the territory of Azerbaijan, forcibly changed the constitutional structure of the country by violent means and for the same purpose armed a number of people. He acted in the direction of organizing trainings, during operational measures carried out by the State Security Service, criminal acts were prevented and stopped.
