A man attacked his ex-partner in broad daylight in a parking lot from Alicante. After struggling with her, the attacker managed to force her into the vehicle, where he took her several cuts with a cutter. The woman’s cries for help were heard by a National Police officer who was on site.
As he approached, he noticed that the woman’s clothes and hands they were bloodythat’s when he arrested the man. Other police patrols and an ambulance went to the parking lot to assist the victim, who was transferred to Alicante General Hospital so that he can recover from his injuries.
The inmate is under investigation for an offense of gender-based violence, although there was no prior complaint.
